Asking for a reply, and "information only"
Ask for a reply when you need one. Mark a message as information only when it doesn't need one.
Asking for a reply
Turn on Ask for a reply in the message box when you need an answer. The message shows Asked for your reply on the other parent’s side.
If your message doesn’t read as a question, Sovela checks: Ask for a reply? You can Send with the request, Send without it, or Cancel.
If you need the answer by a certain time, tap Reply by… and choose Tomorrow, In 2 days, In a week, or a date of your own. A reply-by time has to be at least 24 hours away and no more than 30 days, so no one can be asked for an answer within minutes. It shows on the message and in exports.
Fast replies are never required unless your parenting plan sets a deadline.
Information only
When the other parent asks for a reply and the message doesn’t really need one, mark it Information only. It stops showing as waiting for your reply. Only you see the mark.
