Emergencies
Reach the other parent at once, through every setting, in three taps.
If anyone is in danger, call 911 first.
Emergency on Today sends the other parent an urgent message that comes straight through their digests, quiet hours and limits, by notification and by text.
- What happened? Hurt, sick, can’t be found, police involved, or something else.
- Which child? One child, or all of them.
- What do you need? Call me now, come now, or just read this now.
Sovela starts a Health thread for it and asks for a reply. The other parent sees a banner on Today for 24 hours, with Calling now, On my way and Got it; their answer goes into the thread.
If it doesn’t send, Sovela tells you: call them directly.
If it wasn’t an emergency
The person who receives an emergency can mark it This wasn’t an emergency. Only they see that mark, and it stays on their own record.
Emergency alerts need the other parent to be on Sovela.
