Montana law and child-support estimates
Attorney-reviewed passages of Montana law, and a child-support estimate from the state's worksheets.
What the law says
The law page covers Montana. Browse by category (best interest, parenting plans, moving, changing a plan, child support, process). Or ask a question, answered only from passages an attorney reviewed, each quoted with its section, effective date and source. Questions aren’t kept. It’s legal information, not advice.
Child support (Montana)
The calculator works through Worksheets A to E under ARM 37.62 with the current tables from Montana’s Child Support Services Division: incomes, allowable deductions, long-distance transport, up to eight children with their days, and per-child expenses. It shows who pays how much a month, the key worksheet lines, and each child’s share. It’s an estimate, and nothing you enter is kept.
