Second factor and the audit log
Why client records need a second factor, and what Sovela records about professional access.
A second factor
Client records, organization changes and connected systems need a session that passed a second factor: your authenticator app, or a backup code or texted code when you sign in. Set one up under Account → Security. If your session hasn’t passed it, Sovela asks you to sign in with your second factor to continue.
The audit log
Every professional view of a family’s records, every change of consent and every export is written to an audit log that shows any tampering. Families can trust that access is recorded, and so can you.
